I am so excited to be your child's Pre-K teacher this year!  I am in my 26th year of teaching.  I have taught 1st, 2nd, and 5th grade, and this is my first year in Pre-K.   This is my 17th year in Abernathy.  I also taught at Wilson, TX and Plainview, TX.  My husband's name is Gilbert.  We have been married for 19 years.  We have two sons.  Gilbert Jr. is a SENIOR at AHS and Jaime is an 8th Grader at AJH.  We love to travel!  I love to take pictures! I love making memories with my kids!  

 

Abernathy Elementary is a NO EXCUSES UNIVERSITY campus!  Each classroom represents a different university.  Our university is West Texas A&M University. Our school colors are maroon & white.  Our WT mascot is the Buffalo!  We will wear our college shirts every Wednesday on college day!  I graduated from WTAMU in December 1993.  #buffalum  #GoBuffs
